Vintage Lux Mystery Rotary Tape Measure Clock
This auction is for a very clean Lux Tape Measure Clock which were manufactured in the late 1920’s all the into the early 1950. This one probably dates from the 1930’s and it is working and a reasonable timekeeper. The tape measure time indicator dial is a unique clock for as it ticks the top turns. As it turns, there is a small indicator, which points to the time, Lux called it the “Time at a Glance” clock. It winds at the bottom and it a 30-hour timepiece. The case is fitted with a wind up time only rotary movement and it is 5 inches in diameter and about 2 ¾ inches high. It is all-original and has a little rust and a few marks hear and there. Over all in very nice condition for 80 some years old. THE STARTING BID FOR THE LUX TAPE
MEASURE IS $15.00. THE BID NUMBER IS ITEM O1
