Ansonia Royal Bonn ‘La Mure’ Clock
There are some clocks, which are the best in class, and the Ansonia Royal Bonn is one of them. When there were first introduced in 1890’s, today, and 100 years from now their beauty will be admired and desirable. This is a great Royal Bonn Clock the
‘La Mure’ Clock by Ansonia from the turn of the century. It is a
good running eight-day time and strike clock. It stands
11 inches tall and it is 8 ¾ inches wide. There are no chips,
repairs, or other issues. There is a little crazing
but even this is at a minimum. This is all original with a great
porcelain dial that has no cracks. It is 8-day Ansonia movement, which is
time and strike on the hour and half hour.
The Colors are bright and vibrant with no fading that I can discern. The color and the arrangement are classic Ansonia that made them famous for their china clocks. This is porcelain dial that is mint with no issues. The movements is the Ansonia round movement that was used for many of their clocks starting in 1895. It is marked ,as is the dial, and is original to this case.
