Eight Day Oak Cuckoo Clock
This is a 1930’s clock made by Resulas Company and it is in Oak. This is the typical Cuckoo where the bird comes out and announces the hour and on the half hour. It has a very nice eye appeal and it runs like a champion. There are some issues that you need to consider. The back door is not original, although it is from a German Cuckoo Clock, and I am reasonably sure the top is not original. It has been stained darker than one usually see these types although that might well be the way it was made. The wood is oak and the decoration appears to be complete. The movement could use a good cleaning but it is running great. This might sound like many negatives but this are rather typical issues with Cuckoo Clocks. The difference is that usually the seller does not mention them or possibility does not know of the issues himself. A nice clock and it is an 8 day running which adds to its desirability.
