First Generation Seiko Kinetic Watch

With all of the Watches that are available why consider this one?  This is one of the watchs that started the revolution that we see each day.  This is one to save because it will do nothing but become more valuable over time. I  bought this at a jewelry shop close out  a number of years back.  The store had used this watch as an in store demonstration of this New, at that time, Seiko Watch Revolution.  All to say it has been used but very little.  The other reason to consider this watch is that it is an excellent timepiece.

The bracelet is original and Stainless steel/Base Metal/Rubber mix.  This timepiece has a very striking appearance.  I believe that this is the original model designed by Jorg Hysek for Seiko's Kinetic line of watches.  The Seiko Kinetic movement is functioning perfectly - It holds a full charge and keeps very accurate time, as you would expect from a quartz movement.  This watch requires no batteries.  The battery and capacitor are recharged automatically from the movement of the watch on your wrist.    This watch originally retailed for over $600.

The watch does show some light signs of wear.  Normal light scratches on the case and bracelet that you would expect of a watch being used as a demonstration model.

The case measures 37mm wide without the crown and  40mm including the crown.  This is a really nice size - Not too big and not too small for a watch that can be used for casual/sport  wear.  The bracelet is has NOT been sized. By this, I mean it is still the original factory size.   It can be adjusted smaller at this point to fit your wrist.

THE STARTING BID FIR THE SEIKO KINETIC IS $75.00.  THE BID NUMBER IS 44
Shipping with in the United States is $12.75
