Excellent Hamilton "Franklin" Watch
The watch really is as nice as it looks. It is clean, just serviced, and a good timekeeper. I realize that you can buy a watch that is a good timekeeper at a far different price than this. However, I would believe that it would not look this good or be notices as this will. I would think this is from the late 1960’s and it has just been serviced and has a new main spring. As you can see, the movement is in mint condition and it is a caliber 982. It is 19 jewels and its name is “Franklin”. The housing is a Hamilton housing which is 14 KGF. Other that the crown, which is newer, it is original. This is a nice size men’s watch at 23 35.4 9.5 mm. It is manual wind with sub seconds.
