Hamilton 1937 Black Dial Wrist WatchFor your consideration, I have a very nice Hamilton Wrist Watch. I believe this is the Hamilton ‘Talbot’ from the late 1930’s. This is gold filed, in excellent condition and it is a great recorder of the passage of time. The bracelet deserves a special note for it has a class of its own. The slide moves to increase or decreases the size required, it is gold filed and I would guess it is original with this watch but I can not confirm this. For both the watch and the band there is very little wear and no brassing. Over all this has a great appearance and would be, a great ever day or dress watch. The dial may be original but as is the case with theses watches it is difficult to know for sure. Either way it is a very nice looking watch and one that you will enjoy. I found it impossible to get a true picture of this handsome watch for there is just too many reflections to capture this with a black face. The few time that I did wear it, I always got approval from people that saw it and I know that you will also.
