SETH THOMAS NEWARK CITY SERIES CLOCK

I am pleased to offer one of the better Seth Thomas City Series of Clock’s  “NEWARK”.  This is one of the first of the City Series and Seth used the best materials and design in these early clocks. If you want condition, originality, and desirability, this has them all.  These are very collectable and have been increasing in value and this will continue to do so. 

Best of all this is a clock that is a great collector’s find.  It is all original, and nothing has been added or subtracted and it has been recently cleaned and oiled.  The dial, which was painted on a zinc pan very often, has a lot of paint loss and this one has none. The Geneva stops are still in place and the pendulum, I believe is also original. There is a old break and repair at the top right side.  The person than duplicated the repaid on the other side to balance this out.
