W. L. Gilbert Gladstone Wall Regulator
My guess is that you have never see this clock before and that is the reaction of most people…this is a Gilbert Gladstone which were made 1890 to 1900. This is a good size clock at 40 inches in length and it is 8 day time and strike and Calendar. The great news is that it is original and working and available for you today. It is in Oak with, I believe, the original finish, original dial in great condition and even the Pendulum Rod and Bob are original. The only sad news is that this is a new glass not. Other than this, nothing added and nothing taken away. These are very collectable and have been increasing in value and this will continue. The few that I have seen sell in the recent past have been going for 975 in rather poor not working and missing parts condition. This is a truly an outstand clock and will be a great addition to your home.
