your consideration, I have a very collectable 23 Jewel 18 Size
Hampden Pocket Watch. This is an open face Railroad Grade Watch that
can hold its own with any other watch. This is the Hampden’s New
Railway Model with a serial number of 2,353,722. This is very cleans
and a great recorder of the passage of time. I have had it in test
and it was accurate to 10 second a day, and this is with out any
adjustments.
It is all original and it is pendent wind and lever set. The front
and back covers go on and off with ease. If this is your first
Pocket Watch or you’re twenty this is a get watch. There are a few
hairline dial cracks that many sellers would not even mention which
are at 12 and 5:30 on the outer ring and across the nine on the
inter ring. This has a Glass Crystal. If you look very closely, you
will find the out line of a big Deer on the Back. It does appear
that this was an inlay with gold but it has worn away over the
years.
